Class Air-Cons and Fan

Hello ((:

Teachers and students have complained relentlessly about the state of our class being stuffy/unconducive for learning. Here's more not-so-nice-sounding news:

The school administration has sent a quotation to a maintanence company to come to our class to help fix up the air-con closest to the girls toilet (Yay!) However, due to a recent deficient in funds (not enough money) they have wrote to the Ministry of Education, pending approval. Till MOE approves (to give us more money), it would be (through this method of obtaining the necessary finances) financially impossible for the school to fund the maintanence of one our class Air-Con.

The class fan directly above the teacher's table is working. However, when switched on, sounds produced can be likened to mice running about in our ceiling, thus creating an unconducive learning environment. Unfortunately, the school admin has classified this problem as a long term solution. Therefore, till it's fixed, it is advisable that it should be switched off at all times.

From here, it can be seen that we may have to continue to survive on 2 fans and 1 air-con for a considerable period of time.

The only problem with the aforementioned is that since there's only one air-con functioning, we will tend to set it to a very low temperature and high fan speed. This may cause the air-con to overwork and spoil (like it's fellow brother air-con) Should this happen, we will have to survive on 2 miserable fans and natural air from the surrounding environs.

Let's hope that doesn't happen.

Samuel
